On April 6, 2018 Krista and Justin Pakuris eloped in an intimate ceremony in Hotel Wailea’s Treehouse, cradled within the lush canopy of mango and avocado trees in the boutique resort’s orchard in Maui.

We recently were introduced to a new trend in wedding photography: Proposal/engagement shoots where the photographer is hiding during a planned proposal somewhere beautiful on Maui. They capture the raw emotion of the moment, then once an emphatic “YES!” is yelled, the photographer comes out of hiding and shoots a portrait shoot.
