Most weddings on Maui are held either early morning or just before sunset. Some choose to brave the sun for a spectacularly unique beach wedding. If you’re going to take wedding photos, Maui is a great place to do it. You already have the upperhand in that your backdrops are incredible. That being said, there are many extra challenges that mainland photographers might not be comfortable with: high winds, weather and lighting changes by the second, find beaches without a bunch of people on them, among many other obstacles.
