Maui Valentine’s Day Cruise
My wife and I were recently reminiscing on the Kai Kanani Valentine’s cruise we did a few years back. We never shared the photos, and it turned out to be a pretty amazing whale watch. We weren’t thinking of that when we went, though Valentine’s Day is obviously always during prime whale watch season off the coast of Maui.
We left from Maluaka Beach in Makena, walking from sand, to water then onboard. We were given fresh leis, delicious drinks, and impressive pupus (appetizers.) It was such a fun trip, great sunset, and the food was awesome! The whales put on quite a show too.
Though the catamaran was very sparsely booked (they do this on purpose), it wasn’t only couples on the boat. A few keiki passengers enjoyed the whale watching too.
These photos were taken by Natalie Brown Photography on our Valentine’s Day Cruise. Though the photos are great, the experience was even better! Can’t capture warm breezes and the taste of champagne in a photo!
Mahalo, Kai Kanani, for a great trip! We just checked, and they have 2 tickets left for pick up. For those able to drive themselves to and from Maluaka in Makena, there are more tickets left. You can always Uber too. ALOHA!
