Erick decided to propose to April at the summit of Haleakala during their Maui vacation.
April was surprised and said YES!
Her family knew and showed up as well. Their photographer Sean M. Hower with Maui Wedding Medias, helped coordinate Charles Nahele for providing the music.
They had to coordinate what they were wearing as to recognize each other (photographer/musician and engagement couple) & there were lots of text messages back & forth to make sure they knew where to meet.
The cue Sean gave him (Sean played like a tourist with his cameras) that it was “go time” was this question to them both, “Excuse me but is that Diamond Head” as he pointed to Iao Valley. Charles then started playing his ukulele and sang as they danced on top of the summit then he dropped to one knee and proposed.
Her family popped up and lots of hugs and happy tears started flowing. Not sure you can beat this unique, surprise Maui proposal!
