On April 6, 2018 Krista and Justin Pakuris eloped in an intimate ceremony in Hotel Wailea’s Treehouse, cradled within the lush canopy of mango and avocado trees in the boutique resort’s orchard in Maui.
Coordinated by Simply Eloped, this simple and small service bore all the detail and magic of a grand ceremony packaged into an intimate gathering for two. Perfectly timed with the setting of the sun, the stunning environment magnified all the love being shared between this couple during the biggest moment of their lives.
Samantha Dahabi captured some incredible memories for the happy couple. We LOVE these photos. It’s remarkable that Samantha only picked up a camera 4 years ago. It’s obvious that she’s spent more time behind the camera than not during these 4 years, and she must have had an artistic eye to start with. Very impressive. Dining at the Hotel Wailea Treehouse
Master Chef Krista Garcia is the chef behind private dinners at this remarkable location. We had the pleasure of dining with her at the Restaurant at Hotel Wailea a few months ago and were given a tour of the treehouse. This is one of the most romantic, private, unique spots to have a reception. It’s unreal! And having Chef Krista build a custom multi-course menu would be an absolute dream.

Humble yet beautiful, this island treehouse elopement inspired yet another couple to elope at the Treehouse later this winter, and will hopefully inspire other readers and couples as well. I’m sure the floral arrangements by Stems and Blooms Maui helped in that decision. A big mahalo to Officiant Robert “Kuya” Alamodin for superb officiating.
