Located at the heart of Maui Tropical Plantation, The Mill House is one of Maui’s most well-received and highly acclaimed new restaurants. Chef Jeff Scheer has created an outstanding menu, including rotating dishes made with fresh, local ingredients from the surrounding Kumu Farms and other local vendors based on what’s in season. We highly recommend a romantic evening at The Mill House to experience one of Maui’s most unique dining experience in a gorgeous, tropical setting.
Reserve a table in the brand new Lagoon Dining Room, or on the outdoor lanai to enjoy waterfront dining with views of the Plantation’s sparkling lagoon. Conveniently located only a short drive from South, West, North shore or Central Maui, The Mill House dining areas offer exquisite views of Waikapu valley, flowing clouds over the West Maui Mountains, swaying palm trees, ducks and fish (great for entertaining the kiddos), and plenty of unique island decor.
Each dish is beautifully presented with tons of thought and care, and the service is top notch. This is also one of the best places on Maui to enjoy a scenic happy hour (daily from 3 to 5pm) with friends or loved ones. Each of their handcrafted cocktails includes local flare and fresh ingredients, including the Frangipani with homemade plumeria syrup, Hendricks Gin, Campari, Lemon and egg white, and the White Warrior with Pau Vodka, sake, St. Germain and homemade lemongrass oil, among others. Delish! The ample wine and beer lists are impressive as well!
Whether you come here for a relaxed outdoor lunch with a view, post-exploration pau hana, romantic dinner, or even to rent out the entire restaurant for a special event or occasion, don’t miss it on your next trip to The Valley Isle! Reservations, especially for dinner, are highly recommended.
